East Beach is a waterfront neighborhood in Norfolk, Virginia, fashioned after classic Southeastern seaboard Atlantic coastal villages. Sitting on over 100 acres and including over 700 residences, East Beach also has neighborhood restaurants, boutique shops, the Bay Front Club, offices, parks, playgrounds, and public places. No detail has been spared in the development of this community. Most homes were built starting back in the early 2000s, and new construction continues even today. Featuring plenty of green spaces and parks, this master-planned community features beach cottages and Charleston-style architecture, along with it's own private tennis courts, clubhouse, fitness facility, and swimming pool. In 2012, the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association named East Beach one of the nation's top seven restored beaches.
